I've

I am an aspiring comic artist and I have always been interested in the balance these narratives have to make between characters everyday lives and their adrenaline loaded, action packed alter egos. I have written many of my own stories and thought it could be interesting to take a deeper look into the relation between two members of my own invented universe. In this project I would like to create a drawing and scan it and colorize it in Photoshop. I have decided to incorporate these characters depicted here as sculptures, drawings and in costume accessories.

After a long struggle and asking 4 people to model for me, I finally found a model, me. I guess if you want something done right, or, done at all, you have to do it yourself.

Imagery of me in my self-designed and produced costume posed for this assignment, it is very important this figure read as representative of nature, and be at a diagonal to draw the viewer toward the focal point.

Working on my composition and color scheme here. I may use one of these layered underneath my other imagery. The large dark area represents where a man symbolizing modernization will be suspended by layers of branches. In the opposite corner I may include a dryad, watching and perhaps reaching out to this figure. I want there to be a strong directional pull toward the entangled man who is the focal point.
